I had a problem that would've involved a lot of hard work and taken a long time to solve. My spice rack pullout did not have a quick release on the glide. I would've had to have a handyman come and lay on the tile floor to access 8 screws underneath it to remove an item that had fallen behind the rack thus preventing it to close all the way. I needed a tool that was 36" long and most of these grab tools are only 24". This did the job in just 10 minutes. I was so happy that is did the trick and saved me so much money, too. Overall, it works very well. I had to trim the plastic “fins” in order to fit in my drain. It explains how to do this on the back of the package. It looks attractive and is functional and comes with a couple of extra plastic gray cones if one cracks or gets filled with gunk. I’d buy it again if I needed one for another sink
