These tub strainers are very compact, minimalist, and easy to use. other tub strainers are a lot larger and go over the tub drain, this fits within the drain itself. of course it would not work so well on those tub drains that have a built-in stopper if that is the case, then you would need to remove the stopper in order to use these drainers. after showering, removing the hair from this strainer is easy. the whole strainer co mes out, and the bottom of the strainer is a separate circular part that easily come out, which would then pull out most, if not all, the hair that was caught. then the hair is simply removed and the strainer is then put back into the tub drain. it simply drops right in. it effectively catches a lot of loose hair, and the drain drains the water effectively, too. other strainers end up slowing down the drawn as it gets more clogged, but this one does not.

Nice idea for a versatile tub strainer. I was intrig ued with this product and decided to try it out. It fits several tub drains with or without tub stopper. Small, thin plastic material, that is strong enough to hold the hair and can be disposed of easily. I like that instead of spending lots of time cleaning the drains when they get clogged. It does not hamper the water draining out of the tub.

I have tried so many different products to prevent all of the hair from going down the bathtub drain. Some don't work at all, some do a little good. THIS product works! With women in the house that have long hair, the hair eventually ends up clogging the drain after showers The PF WaterWorks Tub Strain is perfect for what I needed. The strainers that just lay over the drain didn't work. The last product I had been u sing was a nice little silicone/rubbery thing that did an ok job, but it wouldn't stay put in the drain. Many times the water would displace it. This product is made in a way that the top part flares out, so when you push it down in the drain it stays put. I would have added a photo of what it all caught, but didn't think you wanted to see that! Get it, it works!

I used these in my shower after my puppy repeatedly stole the stainless steel hair catcher from the drain. These drop into the drain recess instead of clipping in at the edge (which made it easy for her to steal the original one!). These are very light weight and drop right in without being snug but creating a full opening strainer. The strainer disk does a great job catching hair and other items y ou don't want clogging your drain. This is difficult to remove with your fingers but with a pick or similar pointed object it comes right out. In the plus side you don't have to remove it to clean it, just wait for the hair to dry and it'll easily come out ! This will also attach to drain plugs with a shaft through the hole in the basket.

This is the only type of strainer (mesh) that I could find for a pop-up type drain where you have the center post that the pop-up drain stop screws onto. Super easy to inst all, only thing is that you can't reach under the pop-up drain stop to remove hair out of the mesh... you'd have to remove the pop-up drain stop entirely first before cleaning. So I just keep the drain stop removed so this strainer could be cleaned everyday.

We had two bathtub drains that these fit excellent on. Just unscrew, lay in place, then reapply stew on drain cap. Great cost saver comparing to having to upgrade.
